Elevating on a Budget
Our goal is to create an immersive and exciting environment at every one of our events. But the consistent problem Is always the same; How do we build on a budget?
For this, we look at a community who constantly deals with this problem, local theater companies. When examining the practices of local groups like the Children’s Theatre of Annapolis, you will find that they make amazing 3D sets on a large scale using the most basic and cost-effective materials available.
We have been lucky enough to speak with and learn from the former head of set design for CTA, Susan Tilberry. Susan is a master at her craft, with over fifteen years in set design and prop construction. Some of her favorite materials to use are cardboard, spray foam, metal wiring, and basic sewing.

With help from the wonderful people at the Metropolitan, we are determined to make EDM stick. Each Month, we will be hosting a different themed event with featured artists, entertainment, and emersive scenery.
